Overview

Walmart ran general merchandise and grocery as two separate customer-facing apps, each with its own design system. Living Design merged them into one. Rather than stitching two libraries together, version 2.0 started from new thinking: one shared language of components, interaction standards and design principles, with governance to keep it whole across web, iOS and Android. Next in line was the enterprise portal for Walmart associates.
